The Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Triumph Gallery, and the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academy of Fine Arts, as part of the Young Artists Support Program, present an exhibition titled "Two Parallel Lines Certainly Intersect" by Evgenia Voronova, a graduate of the Graphic Department at the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academy of Fine Arts, a student at the "Free Workshops" School of Contemporary Art, and an intern at the Creative Workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Lobachevsky's refutation of the well-known axiom regarding the parallelism of lines marked the beginning of a new geometric system. His work demonstrated that there can be a vast multitude of geometries. Each new one changes our perceptions of the physical world and allows us to see the realm of the possible.

The geometric solutions in Evgenia Voronova's works relate not only to formal problems but also to the physics of space itself, outlining a new dimension in which familiar objects can be interpreted differently and take on new meanings.

Evgenia Voronova's paintings, drawings, installations, and videos are on view as part of the permanent exhibition at the Sergei Konenkov Museum-Studio. The choice of this particular venue for the exhibition is no coincidence: at various stages of his career, Sergei Konenkov turned to geometric models, a trend reflected in his drawings and sculptures. It is at the intersection of the two artists' parallel spatial explorations that a dialogue emerges.
