The project is a multi-stage exploration of the still life genre. At its core lies a still life conceived by the artist, first painted on canvas ("Before," canvas, oil), then realized in ceramics as a three-dimensional installation, and finally reimagined in a painting from life ("After," canvas, oil).

"Longing for Eternity" is a reference to art history and a dialogue with artists from different eras who worked in the still-life genre. Still life, or "motionless nature," involves careful, unhurried contemplation and a search for meaning in everyday objects. In this genre, objects cease to be mere objects and transform into artistic images that reflect the era, culture, and characteristics of artistic thought.
